About Kevin Kennedy
Kevin is a writer, performer and filmmaker living in Carcross, Yukon.
He is a passionate advocate in the fight against climate change. His work often attempts to raise awareness about environmental issues.
He has been writing and performing for over twenty years in a variety of modes ranging from live theatre to print to multimedia. He has been very active in the theatre and film community in the far north since 2002, serving in creative, support, and leadership roles in organizations such as Lunchpail Theatre, Western Arctic Moving Pictures, the Northern Arts and Culture Centre, Efpeedee Players and other groups. He holds a BA in Creative Writing and an MA in English Literature from the University of Victoria and teaches at Yukon College.
